Ka Hula O ‘Aulani is thrilled once again to host the 7th annual Hula Hiehie O Nā Kūpuna festival with Kumu Ula Hewett as our emcee! Join us as we shine the spotlight on kūpuna in a friendly, non-competitive showcase! Kumu Ula will also be presenting Hula Workshops on Friday September 29 and Sunday October 1.
This year’s theme is Holomua! Holomua means to move forward. With the pandemic behind us, we must continue to move forward with gratitude and grace, and it is with this in mind that we decided to move forward and expand our event to our larger community. This year we will host the event at Laguna Country United Methodist Church in Laguna Woods, CA and are thrilled to share our love of hula with the public for the first time!
