Mehura, Ages 13-55, Women

Mehura is similar to the Hawaiian Hula ‘Auana in look, but the steps are all ‘Ori Tahiti. The most important distinction from ‘aparima himene is that Mehura is danced in a long formal dress, and the tempo is slower. The Mehura is a soft sweet dance.
