Karl has been drumming for more than 30 years.
He has built his repertoire in workshops with various top drummers on the Mainland and in Tahiti, including Iriti, Ra‘atira of Heikura Nui in Tahiti.
Motu‘āina Drummers have won many awards. Karl’s unique teaching methodology allows him to quickly and effectively train drummers who truly want to learn the art.
Karl is a graduate of Stanford University and a retiree from the electronics industry.
